Louvado

The story began with a longstanding passion for wine, vineyards and winemaking, acquired and inherited from Grandfather Manuel Marques. In those days, wine was produced for family consumption and traditional local sales.

The grape harvest was a festive occasion, the tasting of the new wine a reason to gather and celebrate, and every glass of wine a warm welcome and an opportunity for celebration.

Alongside this passion for wine, a set of values was passed down: honesty, integrity, respect, genuine friendship and passion. These values remain the pillars that guide the creation of every one of our wines.
